MIAMI, Fla. (Feb. 6, 2002) - Florida International
University Head Football Coach Don Strock will announce FIU's
second high school recruiting class at a news conference today,
Wednesday, Feb. 6 at 4:30 p.m. at the Rathskeller in the Graham
Center. FIU will also unveil the new football uniforms at the
press conference.
Also tonight, the Golden Panthers will renew their baseball rivalry
with the University of Miami at the University Park stadium for
the first of a three game season series. The first pitch is at
7 p.m.
Wrapping up tonight's full sports schedule, the 18-5 women's basketball
team will challenge New Mexico State at the Golden Panther Arena
as they continue their Sun Belt Conference schedule. Tip off is
at 7 p.m.
